Q: How much does your service cost?
A: Beartrack investigates and invoices most cases on an hourly basis, depending on the specific services involved (surveillance, background checks, etc.). Rates for services range from $40 to $125 per hour, with a $250 retainer required up-front. Your initial consultation is free. Incremental payments are required as pre-determined milestones are achieved.
Q: Are there any guarantees?
A: We guarantee we will shed new light on your case, but we cannot guarantee you will find the answers you're looking for. We may find the truth, and you may not like it... but you still have to pay for the results.
We work within a framework largely dictated by your schedule and budget. You tell us; 1) What you'd like to know, 2) When your deadline is, and 3) What your budget is.
Before we start, Beartrack will provide you a written proposal including payment milestones, case objectives and pertinent deadlines. |
Q: Can't I do most of this myself?
A: Yes. You can also perform dental surgery on yourself and steer your car with your feet. That doesn't mean its a good idea.
Kidding aside, licensed private investigators have access to information and techniques not normally available to an un-licensed citizen.
Interestingly, as "private" investigators, we also have the freedom to investigate things public servants really don't have the right, or obligation, to investigate.
So, while many simple cases can be solved with a little homework on your part, a licensed professional can resolve case more quickly and more thoroughly. However, if you'd like to contribute some "sweat equity" to your case by doing some of the legwork under our guidance, ask us how you can save yourself some money.

A: Yes. Beartrack travels internationally, as necessary, to investigate cases that have legal relevance in California. |
