23 Club
The 23 Club was an interesting challenge. The club was originally a honky-tonk bar back in the 40s. And, while it has managed to stay in business throughout the years, it was having a sort of identity crisis. After all, it’s 2012. Moreover, the 23 club is located in a small town off the beaten path between two major cities – Brisbane, CA.
One challenge was in keeping the historic look and feel, without looking old and decrepit. But, doing so in a way that didn’t offend existing customers and locals. Changing the name was out of the question. So, the end result was a more polished, “hot rod” look that both honors the past, and leans toward the future. We also worked on establishing The 23 Club’s web and social media presence… Time will tell how well they implement my new-fangled advice ; )
