Beartrack Investigations
Beartrack Investigations is a small private investigation firm with a large footprint. We started with some research that led to the simple and effective “Beartrack” name. Unique enough word combination. Easy to spell. Easy to pronounce. Great SEO potential. And, most importantly, it meant something to the client.
As Beartrack originally focused on internal affairs-type cases, the investigator eventually required a much broader range of subcontractors to assist him in solving those cases. To make that happen, I helped him establish a professional group on LinkedIn. This worked in two ways; it added to my client’s professional credibility, and it gave him access to the contact information of all the investigators joining the group.
As it turns out, the marketing we did had a really interesting affect. By raising the visibility of my client, his services became more in-demand. Eventually, he was offered a full-time position at a larger firm. That new, full-time position allowed my client the elusive peace of mind he sought as an entrepreneur. He accepted it, and now runs Beartrack on the side. That professional group on LinkedIn we started? It now has over 3000 members and is one of the most popular, and active, private investigator forums on the web.
