Group Owners Group
The LinkedIn Group Owners Group is a peer network that discusses topics relevant to Linkedin group owners, administrators and moderators including; how to establish group order, how to deal with trolls, how to promote your group, etc.
The Group Owners idea came about after some conversations I had with other group owners on LinkedIn. As you might expect, a lot of us were experiencing the same issues as administrators, or “owners,” of LinkedIn groups. LinkedIn groups are great way to connect with a group of experts focused on specific topics. And, they are really easy to start. They are free. It takes about two minutes. You don’t actually “own” anything – that’s Linkedin jargon.
The only potential downside is that there are no instructions on how to make your group successful. They have quite a few conditions on what you cannot do, but nothing explaining the best way to do things. That’s where the group owners group comes in!
