Target Metreon

For this project, I started out by featuring my client as the cover story for an international trade magazine.

Hot off the presses, I used those magazines, some investigative ingenuity, persistence, organization and attitude to connect with the lead design team at Target.

I convinced Arrow to let me take the newest, least experienced sign sales person to the meeting and throw convention to the wind. The meeting was successful, and my efforts lead directly to the new guy landing one of the largest retail projects in San Francisco in 20 years.

The new Target Metreon is one of Target’s new, smaller, urban-design stores. There are plans for a second Target in San Francisco, and another in Hollywood.

If this client plays its card right through a years-long sales cycle, my cash contribution to Arrow will approach $1M. Their long-term visibility and credibility in this specialized marketplace will also be increased immeasurably over the next decade.
